Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Diagnose complex orthopaedic infections more accurately and efficiently through integrated clinical, radiologic, and microbiologic assessment.
  2. Select and interpret advanced imaging studies appropriately to guide diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal infections.
  3. Implement evidence-based antimicrobial strategies that improve infection control while supporting antimicrobial stewardship.
  4. Collaborate effectively across Orthopaedics, Infectious Diseases, and Radiology to develop unified, patient-centered care plans.
  5. Improve patient outcomes, including decreased complications, readmissions, and prolonged hospital stays related to orthopaedic infections.
