Overview
The 2025 Autism Educational Summit will provide fresh insights into the practical application of knowledge in the management and support of children on the autism spectrum. Esteemed clinicians will present innovative, evidence-based approaches in the management of autism spectrum disorder and common associated conditions. Additionally, stakeholders in the community will offer information to help healthcare professionals best advocate for and support children with autism. This conference underscores the importance of active partnership between autistic children, their families, and their healthcare, educational, and community-based teams. Particular emphasis will be placed on the importance of considering communication differences and mental health in autistic children.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply evidence-based tools to assess and manage mental health conditions in autistic children.
  2. Identify various communication methods and adapt to communication needs of autistic patients.
  3. Implement strategies for creating more accessible and equitable healthcare environments for children on the autism spectrum.
