Overview
The Inflammatory Bowel Disease West Case Conference is a multi-institutional, multi-disciplinary conference comprised of institutions in 5 different states in the western United States. This conference is designed to enhance patient care by sharing knowledge between institutions and specialties.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Incorporate into practice knowledge of the pathophysiology and natural disease history of inflammatory bowel disease.
  2. Utilize appropriate patient history, imaging, and laboratory tests to diagnose/detect active inflammatory bowel disease.
  3. Manage complex inflammatory bowel disease patients according to disease severity and prognosis with an emphasis on using biologic and immune suppressing therapies.
