Overview
The 2024 Cerebral Palsy provider conference promises to deliver new insights on the practical implementation of early detection techniques for cerebral palsy. Renowned clinicians and researchers will join forces to introduce innovative, evidence-supported methods for evaluating and addressing cerebral palsy. The event will not only facilitate collaboration among various healthcare professionals but also emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and multidisciplinary interventions in improving outcomes for at-risk infants. By bringing together pediatric healthcare providers from diverse backgrounds, the conference aims to foster a holistic approach to caring for individuals with cerebral palsy. It highlights the essential role of primary care providers in working alongside specialists to deliver comprehensive and integrated care throughout the continuum of treatment.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify and promptly detect early motor signs indicative of cerebral palsy during routine well-child visits.
  2. Explain to patients and their families the significance of early intervention in improving developmental outcomes for individuals with cerebral palsy.
  3. Evaluate and oversee proficiently the comprehensive care for children with cerebral palsy, including effectively managing referrals and communication with specialists, rehabilitation professionals, and community resources.
  4. Implement best practices in providing care and managing children with cerebral palsy.
  5. Facilitate referrals to suitable CP specialists as required.
