HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) & DoxyPEP for Primary Care Teams 2026-2028

This is a FREE one-hour educational session for Primary Care Clinicians designed to empower them to prescribe and monitor medications to prevent HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections. A 15-question assessment based on case scenarios enables practitioners to gauge their learning.

1. Discuss a patient's sexual health history and recognize patients eligible for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis and Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (DoxyPEP)
2. Select appropriate medications for PrEP and manage them in follow-up
3. Recognize opportunities for STI testing and DoxyPEP use
4. Recognize indications to refer patients on PrEP to specialty clinic
