Developing a Telemedicine Program 2025

This is a live, virtual activity designed to teach healthcare professionals about telemedicine and telehealth and how it benefi ts both clinicians and patients. To incorporate telemedicine into real practices, providers and others in healthcare systems need to understand how telemedicine works. This activity provides training on this topic by experts in the field. The same program agenda is scheduled for two time in 2025.

1. Develop a strategic approach for launching or expanding telemedicine services aligned with organizational goals.
2. Improve communication skills and etiquette for effective patient interactions through telehealth.
3. Increase understanding of privacy, cybersecurity, and legal considerations critical to compliant telemedicine practices.
4. Identify key guidelines, standards, and strategies for creating successful and equitable telemedicine programs.
