"Unity in Diversity: Empowering Medical Trainees for Inclusive Healthcare" In order to prepare our trainees to care for our region's diverse population, at this year's W-APPD Conference, we will be exploring our populations' needs and the innovative curricula that have been developed and implemented throughout the Western region residency and fellowship programs aimed to promote and prepare our trainees to provide culturally informed care for our diverse populations.

1. Fulfill one’s professional responsibility to populations, communities, and society at large.
2. Identify populations placed at risk for poor health outcomes using statistical, epidemiological, public health, and community outreach measures.
3. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders in the development and implementation of health professional curriculum aimed to enhance and train a more inclusive healthcare workforce.
