Overview
This education event will inform and update medical professionals about scientifically proven integrative medicine methods and will review and evaluate new practices and approaches. This event will help attendees educate their patients around treatment options, indications and contra-indications, and preventative practices. This event will provide colleagues an opportunity to interact with one another and build community.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Counsel patients on the evidence, indications, and contraindications for various breathing techniques
  2. Employ peptide therapy at correct doses for appropriate patients
  3. Cite current evidence base for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's Disease
  4. Counsel patients on the pros and cons of various trending diets, such as keto, Mediterranean, and vegan
  5. Cite evidence for auricular acupuncture for chronic pain
  6. Utilize best coding/billing practices for Integrative Medicine, including the new NUCC code
  7. Employ integrative strategies for the prevention and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
  8. Counsel end-of-life patients using "whole-hearted care"
  9. Cite RCT evidence for ketamine therapy in behavioral health patients
  10. Employ strategies to elicit patient disclosure of herbal dietary supplement usage
  11. Identify the evidence for integrative therapies for abdominal pain in children.
  12. Cite the evidence for movement and mental wellbeing and burnout.
