COM-P Obstetrics & Gynecology RSS 2023-24

Objective(s): 1 Incorporate into practice counseling techniques, management pathways, and care models to improve outcomes for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, prevention of premature birth, substance abuse disorders, gynecologic surgery and reproductive endocrinology. 2 Utilize new techniques, tools, and procedures for treatment of gynecologic disorders. 3 Utilize a clear plan of action regarding the assessment and management to prevent premature delivery, preeclampsia, and treat substance use disorders during pregnancy. 4 Screen for ovarian cancer, IUGU and fetal distress. 5 Incorporate into practice SBIRT for patients with anxiety, depression, and substance use disorder.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Incorporate into practice counseling techniques, management pathways, and care models to improve outcomes for hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, prevention of premature birth, substance abuse disorders, gynecologic surgery and reproductive endocrinology.
  2. Utilize new techniques, tools, and procedures for treatment of gynecologic disorders.
  3. Identify and remedy patterns that indicate a problem within TWI enterprise and how it impacts each hospital/department.
