Overview
1-hour monthly educational sessions to increase quality improvement. To improve performance key quality indicators, clinical outcomes and key safety measures. These educational sessions have been developed to increase knowledge, skill and professional performances.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Apply health quality measurements and standards of care.
  2. Apply outcome measures to assess the incidence or prevalence of adverse events or preventable death.
  3. Identify beliefs, attitudes, norms, and values in conjunction with patient thresholds to foster the highest degree of safety culture.
  4. Create a patient safety environment, including complex interventions requiring variations in individual work routines and healing processes, as well as behavioral changes to be made by the team or individual care providers.
  5. Treat complex patients with multidisciplinary teams using a combination of managerial solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
  6. Prevent medical errors and their adverse impacts on patients during the course of medication delivery.
  7. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) after a patient safety event has occurred.
