Overview
The 2026 ASEPS Grand Canyon Regional Ophthalmology Conference brings together leading experts to deliver high-impact updates on emerging technologies, advanced diagnostics, and innovative surgical planning. This year’s program highlights practical strategies for integrating artificial intelligence, optimizing cataract surgery in complex corneas, applying molecular diagnostics for uveitis, and navigating rapidly evolving IOL options. Attendees will also gain actionable guidance on ergonomics, systems-based approaches to reducing medical errors, and 2026 coding compliance. Designed to elevate clinical performance and enhance patient outcomes, this meeting offers ophthalmologists a dynamic, evidence-driven learning experience in an inspiring Arizona setting.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Incorporate artificial intelligence into surgical practice where appropriate.
  2. Strengthen clinical decision-making/planning for cataract surgery involving corneal ectasia.
  3. Reduce surgeon injuries developed in the clinic and operating workplaces by incorporating ergonomic strategies to reduce repetitive stress injuries.
  4. Implement office-based surgery options, if appropriate for your practice.
  5. Enhance postoperative outcomes by improving management of cystoid macular edema.
  6. Diagnose infectious and inflammatory uveitis more quickly and accurately using molecular diagnostic strategies.
  7. Implement systems-based approaches to reduce medical errors and malpractice risk in cataract surgery.
  8. Meet 2026 compliance standards for coding and billing practices.
